B-Qube: crystalline ice, transparent as glass

clock--v2.png 2 minutes for reading the point of view of Marco on B-Qube ice

Modern, international, with an exotic style. Marco Melzi defines himself in this way. Born in 1982, Marco has been working behind the bar since the age of 18. We met him at Mixology Experience (an inspirational event in Milan dedicated to the new trends of "drinking well"). He told us about his experience with B-Qube ice, which he uses daily for the preparation of “Mexiterranean” cocktails. Yes, Marco really likes the Mexican and Italian combination. Tastes, colors and flavors of different cultures meet in its drinks to create drinks to be savored. An almost Platonic solid, to cite a bit of mathematical theory. And therefore, the maximum degree of replicability and symmetry. The presence of a “pedestal” at the base of the cube allows the ice cubes to be mixed with the other ingredients of the cocktail, in the shaker or in the mixing glass, without sticking together. This is phenomenal! Furthermore, it is undeniable that clear ice like B-Qube looks particularly seductive in the glass becoming invisible, shiny and smooth once inserted into your drink and slowly reappearing with every sip you take. Furthermore, the weight of 23 fits perfectly into a low tumbler, the classic old fashioned glass so to speak. It is enough to draw only once from the container of the maker and with a "spoon" have the right amount of ice to make the cocktail. Drastic acceleration in work, beautiful aesthetics, practicality.
